Bolos participated in the program, gaining feedback from readers during the 10 day program. 10dbc continues to work with authors following the book club by offering editing services and social network training for authors. Working with Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter, authors learn to self promote and market their work and Bolos has successfully built connections and is actively marketing Fiend through these avenues.
Fiend, set in the small rural town of Larkin, WI, is a tale of good versus evil, where dreams and reality cross in fast paced interaction between the two planes of existence. “After starting the story, it’s impossible to put down,” stated 10dbc Managing Editor Tracie Bennitt. “The story draws you into the realm of possibility of good versus evil battles that take place in our every day existence that most of us are totally unaware of. Fiend is definitely going to make its mark in the horror fiction genre.”
Bolos, a native of Joliet, IL, is a middle school teacher in northern Illinois and Fiend is his first novel. Living with his wife, two dogs and two cats, Bolos is expecting his first child next year. For additional information, Bolos can be contacted through Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter.
